Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), 68-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Copper Canyon upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 30. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Red Mountain won 58-44 in their recent non-league bout against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Stampede play the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 29. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 70-43 non-league loss to McClintock (Tempe, AZ).
