Kentucky High School Basketball - Iroquois overwhelms Garrard County
December 27, 2022: Lancaster, KY 40444 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Iroquois Raiders (Louisville, KY) and the host Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY), saw Iroquois's basketball squad wallop Garrard County by a tally of 70-43.
With the victory, Iroquois improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Beechwood lost 64-54 in their recent non-league challenge against McCracken County (Paducah, KY)
Next up, the Golden Lions confront the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Garrard County will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 80-35 non-league loss to South Oldham (Crestwood, KY).
