The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) and the visiting Costa Mesa Mustangs (Costa Mesa, CA), observed Kennedy's football squad bounce Costa Mesa by a count of 48-7.

The Fighting Irish now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league contest on Friday, August 25. Kennedy will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 33-7 non-league win over Woodbridge (Irvine, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-0.
