Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Salado Eagles (Salado, TX), 49-42 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Rusk improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bellville (Bellville, TX) to confront the Brahmas in a non-league test on Friday, November 19. The Brahmas come into the test with a record of 11-0. Bellville won 62-14 in their recent non-league test against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX)

With the loss, Salado drops to 7-4 on the campaign.
