Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) and the host River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), saw Washington Township's basketball squad wallop River Forest by a tally of 39-10.

With the victory, Washington Township improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Hammond Central (Hammond, IN) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 10. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Hammond Central won 63-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Bowman Academy (Gary, IN)

Next up, the Ingots confront the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 12. River Forest will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 51-14 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, IN).
