September 9, 2023: Daly City, CA 94015 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Summit Shasta Black Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Monta Vista Matadors.
The Black Bears (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pacific Bay Christian (Pacifica, CA). The Eagles come into the battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Pacific Bay Christian achieved victory over University Prep Academy (San Jose, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Matadors clash with the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a battle, on Monday, September 11. Monta Vista will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA).
