Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Early Longhorns (Early, TX), 52-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Bangs upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Dragons travel to Comanche (Comanche, TX) to play the Indians in a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Friday, January 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Comanche lost 72-46 in their recent league bout against Dublin (Dublin, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Brady Bulldogs (Brady, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 bout, on Friday, January 27. Early will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 38-31 league loss to Coleman (Coleman, TX).
