Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Medfield drops to Xaverian Brothers
May 18, 2023: Westwood, MA 02090 Xaverian Brothers Hawks (Westwood, MA) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Medfield Warriors (Medfield, MA), 19-7 in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now have a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Catholic Memorial for a Catholic match on Tuesday, May 23. Xaverian Brothers will play a Knights team coming off a 8-6 league loss to St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA). The Knights record now stands at 9-6.
With the defeat, Medfield drops to 9-5 on the season. The Warriors host Duxbury (Duxbury, MA) to play the Dragons in a non-league match on Saturday, May 20. The Dragons go into the match with a record of 13-3. Duxbury won 13-12 in their recent league match against Silver Lake Regional (Kingston, MA)
