Kentucky High School Basketball - Grayson County nudges Meade County
February 1, 2022: Brandenburg, KY 40108 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) basketball squad edged the host Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), by a margin of 48-45.
The Cougars (10-10) will now prepare for their outing against Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Bears go into the District 12 outing with a 12-7 record. In their last outing, Butler County was tipped by Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 60-52, in a non-league outing.
The Green Waves now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hancock County for a District 11 outing on Friday, February 4. Meade County will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 83-58 non-league loss to Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 4-8.
