Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA), 69-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Rogers upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Pirates host Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA) to clash with the Bullpups in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Bullpups go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Gonzaga Prep won 66-33 in their recent league bout against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the University Titans (Spokane, WA) in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 77-74 league loss to Ferris (Spokane, WA).
