Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) and the host River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX), saw Wellington's basketball squad overcome River Road by a tally of 44-30.

With the victory, Wellington improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Skyrockets host Childress (Childress, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Childress won 72-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Quanah (Quanah, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. River Road will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record.
