January 26, 2022: Avondale, AZ 85392 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) and the host West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), saw Washington's soccer squad triumph over West Point by a count of 8-0.
The Rams now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Glendale for a 5A Central test on Thursday, January 27. Washington will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Independence (Glendale, AZ). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, West Point drops to 0-7 on the season. The Dragons travel to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Rattlers in a 5A Central test on Friday, January 28. The Rattlers come into the test with a record of 0-7. North Canyon lost 9-1 in their recent league test against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ)
