September 4, 2010: Hammond, LA 70401 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) and the visiting False River Gators (New Roads, LA), saw Aquinas's volleyball squad beat False River by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Aquinas upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Terrebonne (Houma, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Terrebonne won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Morgan City (Morgan City, LA)
The Gators now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Brusly for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 7. False River will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
