Minnesota High School Basketball - Brainerd nips Cambridge-Isanti
January 27, 2024: Brainerd, MN 56401 Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN), 81-78 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brainerd upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN) to play the Thunderhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a record of 12-9.
Next up, the Bluejackets play the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN) in a AAA Section 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Cambridge-Isanti will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN).
