January 15, 2015: Sutton, WV 26601

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) and the visiting South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV), saw Braxton County's basketball squad knock off South Harrison by a count of 68-50.

With the victory, Braxton County upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Webster County (Upper Glade, WV) to play the Highlanders in a Little Kanawha - South challenge on Tuesday, January 20. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Hawks play the Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 16. South Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 67-52 non-league loss to Fort Frye (Beverly, OH).
