Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Miller Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), 63-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 24-1 on the season.

Next up, the Mavericks encounter the St. Christopher's Saints (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 1. Miller will attempt to upgrade on its 16-11 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 17-10 record after their 52-50 non-league loss to Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA).
