The Freedom Patriots football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Patton Panthers to 6 in the Patriots non-league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chase for a non-league battle on Friday, September 15. Freedom will play a Trojans squad coming off a 35-25 non-league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills battle, on Friday, September 15. Patton will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Wolverines go into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 47-21 non-league loss to Landrum (Landrum, SC).
