January 21, 2023: South Bend, IN 46613 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN) and the host South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN), saw Michigan City's basketball squad wallop South Bend Riley by a tally of 59-26.
With the victory, Michigan City improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Bowman Academy (Gary, IN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Bowman Academy lost 67-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. South Bend Riley will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 46-33 league win over Goshen (Goshen, IN).
