Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX), 4-2 in a league test.

With the win, Hudson upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Palestine (Palestine, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 4A Region III District 18 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-4. Palestine won 2-1 in their recent league test against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX)
