The Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Nevada Union Miners to 53 in the Bruins league victory on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Park for a Foothill Valley contest on Thursday, January 13. Ponderosa will battle a Panthers team coming off a 68-61 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-13.

The Miners (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings come into the Foothill Valley contest with a 11-6 record.
