Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Apollo Ridge tipped by Summit Academy
February 2, 2022: Spring Church, PA 15686 The Summit Academy Knights basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Apollo Ridge Vikings to 55 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Knights now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seton LaSalle for a WPIAL 3A 2 contest on Friday, February 4. Summit Academy will meet a Rebels team coming off a 77-67 non-league win over Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Rebels record now stands at 14-2.
The Vikings (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA). The Gladiators enter the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, South Allegheny was nudged by Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 59-50, in a league contest.
