Texas High School Basketball - Dawson tops Clear Lake
December 15, 2023: Houston, TX 77058 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) and the host Clear Lake Falcons (Houston, TX), saw Dawson's basketball squad knock off Clear Lake by a count of 75-64.
With the victory, Dawson upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Alief Hastings (Houston, TX) to play the Bears in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Alief Hastings lost 66-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Tomball (Tomball, TX)
Next up, the Falcons play the Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) in a 6A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Clear Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 72-55 non-league loss to Pasadena (Pasadena, TX).
