February 5, 2024: Maxwell, IA Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) and the host Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA), saw Hudson's basketball squad wallop Collins-Maxwell by a tally of 56-26.
With the victory, Hudson improves its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Pirates host Jesup (Jesup, IA) to confront the J-Hawks in a North Iowa Cedar - East challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The J-Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Jesup lost 64-27 in their recent league challenge against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA)
Next up, the confront the IKM/Manning Wolves (Manning, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Collins-Maxwell will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 72-16 non-league loss to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA).
