The South Elgin Storm held off the visiting Amundsen Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Storm now have a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palatine for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 1. South Elgin will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 12-12.
