New Hampshire High School Basketball - Trinity knocked off by Merrimack
January 6, 2017: Manchester, NH 03104 The Merrimack Tomahawks basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Trinity Pioneers to 42 in the Tomahawks league triumph on Friday.
The Tomahawks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Guertin for a Division I contest on Tuesday, January 10. Merrimack will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 59-47 league loss to Londonderry (Londonderry, NH). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.
The Pioneers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Nashua North (Nashua, NH). The Titans enter the Division I contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Nashua North was outscored by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH), 71-50, in a league contest.
