Texas High School Basketball - Muleshoe crushes Texico
December 11, 2021: Muleshoe, TX 79347 Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM), 65-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Muleshoe upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Mules host Denver City (Denver City, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 3A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, December 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-11.
Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 16. Texico will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 44-42 non-league win over Klondike (Lamesa, TX).
