December 2, 2023: Helix, OR 97835 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) and the host Griswold Grizzlies (Helix, OR), saw Grant Union's basketball squad overcome Griswold by a tally of 48-30.
With the victory, Grant Union improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Prospectors travel to Crane (Crane, OR) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Crane won 82-30 in their recent non-league battle against Bonanza (Bonanza, OR)
The Grizzlies (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sherman (Moro, OR). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
