Texas High School Basketball - Meyer fells Meridian

Meyer Ravens (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX), 63-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Meyer upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Ravens travel to Wortham (Wortham, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wortham won 43-31 in their recent non-league bout against Frost (Frost, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 41-34 non-league loss to Dodd City (Dodd City, TX).
