The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) and the visiting Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI), saw Saline's volleyball squad beat Skyline by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Saline upgrades its record to 14-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to North Branch (North Branch, MI) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 30-3. North Branch won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Richmond (Richmond, MI)

The Eagles now own a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Detroit Country Day for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. Skyline will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Novi (Novi, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 21-6.
