August 31, 2023: Arlington, IA 50606 Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Marquette Mohawks (Bellevue, IA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Stars clash with the Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 5. Starmont will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA).
With the loss, Marquette drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Monticello (Monticello, IA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 2. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 4-2. Monticello won 3-0 in their recent league match against Bellevue (Bellevue, IA)
