South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), 35-6 in a league test.

With the triumph, South Mecklenburg improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Sabres host Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Pumas in a 4A South Meck test on Friday, September 29. The Pumas come into the test with a record of 2-4. Palisades lost 44-0 in their recent league test against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)

With the loss, Berry drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cardinal travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Knights in a 4A South Meck test on Friday, September 29. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-2. Ardrey Kell won 28-0 in their recent non-league test against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC)
