Illinois High School Softball - Anna-Jonesboro bounces Scott City
March 23, 2022: Anna, IL 62906 Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Scott City Rams (Scott City, MO), 11-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Herrin for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26. Anna-Jonesboro will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Galatia/Thompsonville (Galatia, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Scott City falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Kennett (Kennett, MO) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Kennett won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against East Prairie (East Prairie, MO)
