Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) and the host Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN), saw Portage's basketball squad wallop Lake Station Edison by a tally of 89-38.

With the victory, Portage improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Chesterton (Chesterton, IN) to play the Trojans in a Duneland challenge on Friday, February 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Chesterton won 68-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN)

Next up, the Fighting Eagles play the Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Lake Station Edison will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 51-42 non-league loss to North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN).
