December 27, 2022: La Verne, CA 91750 Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA), 74-70 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chaparral upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Pumas host Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA) to play the Nighthawks in a bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Nighthawks come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Murrieta Valley won 73-19 in their recent non-league bout against San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Bonita will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Broncos enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 56-41 non-league win over Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA).
