Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS) and the host Independence Bulldogs (Independence, KS), saw Parsons's basketball squad knock off Independence by a tally of 55-45.

With the victory, Parsons improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Erie (Erie, KS) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.
