December 2, 2022: Van Alstyne, TX 75495 Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX), 72-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Van Alstyne upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Panthers host Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Newman Smith lost 56-34 in their recent non-league bout against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers (Frisco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 56-34 non-league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX).
