With the triumph, Lone Star improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host The Colony (The Colony, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 test on Friday, October 19. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-1. The Colony won 56-21 in their recent league test against Heritage (Frisco, TX)
With the loss, Independence drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to confront the Wolverines in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 test on Friday, October 19. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 3-3. Wakeland lost 28-16 in their recent league test against Little Elm (Little Elm, TX)
