The Loraine Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Highland Hornets to 42 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hermleigh for a 1A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 10.
The Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX). The Cardinals enter the 1A Region II District 14 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Hermleigh ran past Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene (Abilene, TX), 73-26, in a league contest.
