Illinois High School Basketball - Fenwick fells Nazareth Academy
February 18, 2012: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), 60-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Fenwick upgrades its record to 11-12 on the campaign. The Friars travel to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 14-9.
Next up, the Roadrunners play the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic bout, on Monday, February 20. Nazareth Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Shamrocks come into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 60-48 non-league win over Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL).
