Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Zurich falls to Huntley
December 20, 2011: Huntley, IL 60142 The Huntley Red Raiders basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Lake Zurich Bears to 26 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hope Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Huntley will confront a team coming off a 70-54 non-league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The record now stands at 12-1.
The Bears (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees enter the North Suburban - Lake contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Zion-Benton ran past North (St. Charles, IL), 60-51, in a non-league contest.
