Illinois High School Basketball - Nazareth Academy routs Hillcrest
January 10, 2022: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 In Monday's non-league outing, the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), by a margin of 71-35.
The Roadrunners (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the East Suburban Catholic outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Joliet Catholic was trounced by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 64-30, in a league outing.
The Hawks now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Evergreen Park for a South Suburban - Red bout on Tuesday, January 11. Hillcrest will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 47-29 league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-7.
