The Elgin Owls basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Sterling Tigers to 36 in the Owls non-league victory on Monday.

The Owls now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Weatherford for a non-league contest on Monday, January 25. Elgin will meet a Eagles team coming off a 66-21 non-league win over Woodward (Woodward, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 8-0.
