December 7, 2021: Estancia, NM 87016 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Estancia Bears (Estancia, NM) and the visiting Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM), saw Estancia's basketball squad overcome Capitan by a tally of 73-53.
With the victory, Estancia improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 10. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Cottonwood Classical Prep won 58-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 9. Capitan will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 54-36 non-league loss to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
