April 2, 2024: Hurricane, UT 84737 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) and the visiting Snow Canyon Warriors (St. George, UT), saw Hurricane's volleyball squad nip Snow Canyon by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Hurricane upgrades its record to 7-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Pine View (St. George, UT) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region 9 bout on Tuesday, April 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Pine View won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Desert Hills (St. George, UT)
The Warriors now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Crimson Cliffs for a 4A Region 9 bout on Friday, April 5. Snow Canyon will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cedar (Cedar City, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-8.
Match Summary
The home team came out victor in the fifth match between Hurricane and Snow Canyon this season. The first four meetings were in tournament play with an even 2-2 split.
