Virginia High School Softball - Colonial Beach loses to Lancaster
May 2, 2019: Colonial Beach, VA 22443 The Lancaster Red Devils softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Colonial Beach Drifters to 4 in the Red Devils league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Lancaster improves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Washington & Lee (Montross, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a Northern Neck game on Tuesday, May 7. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 10-9. Washington & Lee lost 4-2 in their recent league game against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)
In their next game, the Drifters clash with the West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 3. Colonial Beach will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Pointers come into the game with a 2-11 record after their 9-2 league loss to King William (King William, VA).
