Kentucky High School Basketball - Bell County holds off Perry County Central
February 14, 2011: Pineville, KY 40977 Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), 56-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bell County upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Barbourville (Barbourville, KY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 20-5. Barbourville won 80-53 in their recent non-league bout against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY)
Next up, the Commodores play the Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 18. Perry County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 9-15 record after their 52-40 non-league win over Lawrence County (Louisa, KY).
