In Friday's non-league match, the visiting South Hills Scorpions football squad scored a big 49-17 victory over the Saginaw Rough Riders.

In their next game, the Scorpions clash with the Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 8. South Hills will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 48-8 non-league loss to Seguin (Arlington, TX).

With the loss, Saginaw drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rough riders travel to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Fossil Ridge won 23-16 in their recent non-league test against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX)
