In Wednesday's league outing, the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), by a margin of 57-30.

The Blue Devils (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Rebels go into the AA Region 7 outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Fannin County smashed Pepperell (Lindale, GA), 50-44, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Coosa for a AA Region 7 outing on Friday, January 21.
