September 24, 2009: Lakewood, CO 80227 The Pomona Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Bear Creek Bears to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky Mountain for a non-league game on Saturday, September 26. Pomona will meet a Lobos team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Poudre (Fort Collins, CO). The Lobos record now stands at 1-4.
The Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Standley Lake (Westminster, CO). The Gators enter the 5A Jeffco game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Standley Lake gained a win over Hinkley (Aurora, CO), 3-0, in a non-league game.
