Raton Tigers (Raton, NM) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM), 44-16 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Raton upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Questa (Questa, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Questa lost 56-52 in their recent non-league bout against Dulce (Dulce, NM)

Next up, the Demons play the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 8. Des Moines will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Bosque (Albuquerque, NM).
